A. Time for butter

Eindhoven / 2019
Special thanks to Peter P.

Today, everything is accessible with a click of a button. Water. Light. Food.
While our ancestors would have to chop wood for hours to get heat, we just turn a button without realising how simple our life became.
Time for butter is a contemporary butter churn. It is a ritual, to spend time again engaging with our belongings and value more the things we take for granted. It is re-introducing physical activity  in a way to get conscious of the access to all the
simple things we have today. By taking the time to churn the butter, you have the power to acknowledge all the effort that are behind all our daily things.

Recipe:

A cup of cream and about
15 minutes of your time.
